In honour of Black History Month, the CBC has created an incredibly helpful interactive profile of a number of black Canadians. I will readily confess that most of these names are brand new to me, so we can all learn together.

Awesome link. Some really superb people there – and a history that we don’t talk about, sadly, as much as we should.
I looked at the site yesterday and felt sad that I only recognized three names. There is so much of our history that was not taught.
